Your bed/mattress will be delivered to you direct from ABACA by independent carrier the day after it was despatched from the warehouse, on a date agreed with you. Carrier deliveries are made from Monday to Friday. The product will not be despatched without an agreed delivery date.
If you are not there to take collection of your goods a charge of £25 will be made to cover part of the cost of the failed delivery, so please ensure that the agreed date is convenient for you.
If for any reason you do miss the courier, the courier will have left their card with contact details. Could you please ensure that you contact them as soon as possible since every extra journey your goods make increases the likelihood of damage. If the carrier fails to deliver for reasons beyond their control they will contact you at the earliest possible opportunity.
Mattresses can be difficult to handle, please ensure that you have enough help on hand when your delivery takes place. ABACA ensure that the packaging is sufficiently strong to cope with all normal handling. When your goods arrive, please ensure that there are no rips or tears to the mattress and/or that the bed has not been scratched or damaged. The driver is allowed to wait for 10 minutes while you do this.
In the unlikely event that there is any damage, please DO NOT accept delivery and DO NOT sign the delivery shee. Instead ask the driver for a damaged freight report which will need your signature. Contact us as soon as is practicable. Goods are not covered by transit insurance once you have accepted delivery.
