Sea buckthorn has been used by herbalists for millennia but has only recently been used in natural skin care products. Eselle Organics 100% organic Sea Buckthorn seed Oil 30ml Ref: ES-SBO

A 100% organic oil from Eselle Organics, containing 100% organic sea buckthorn seed oil. Packed with good fatty acids and antioxidants, Seabuckthorn oil has been found to protect and strengthen, and increase the regeneration of tissues. Studies have shown that seabuckthorn oil is very effective in promoting skin health by affecting three important factors: micro-circulation, cell regeneration and inflammatory reaction. It is ideal for treating scarred or damaged skin. Please note that Sea Buckthorn seed oil will leave some colour on the skin. However if you use a small amount and massage it in this will disappear. However please be careful with clothing as it will stain. When Sea Buckthorn oil is mixed with a little cream it will give you a light tanned look when used on the body. Also, please note that the oil does have a 'medicinal' fragrance, which is not unpleasant but is fairly strong.
