They do not use any animal product neither do they test their products on animals. They do not use any synthetic ingredients or preservatives, but prefer to use the natural preservative properties found in many plant extracts. Even though this gives a shorter shelf life, they feel this is a fair exchange for a synthetic free and more natural product. All colouring within our preparations comes from the herbs used. They are dedicated to using certified organic herbs, plant oils and essential oils whenever possible and each preparation is made by hand. In order to extract the full strength and goodness of their healing properties they infuse herbs into the plant oils for at least a month. A variety of oils and essential oils are then carefully blended for each preparation. Our skin can absorb up to 60% of what is applied to it and a recent study suggests that an average women can absorb up to 2kgs of chemicals through her skin every year simply by using everyday skincare products.
